Terms & conditions

Last updated: 18 September 2026

These terms govern your access to and use of the Sales Sathi website and platform. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you are authorised to bind that business.

1. The service

Sales Sathi provides a shared inbox for customer conversations, along with catalog, chatbot, order, payment and document features. We may add, change or remove features over time; we will not make a change that materially reduces the core service during a paid term without telling you.

2. Accounts and workspaces

You must give accurate registration details and verify your email address. Access to a workspace begins once your application is reviewed and approved.

You are responsible for your credentials and for everything done under your account, including by the team members you invite. Tell us promptly at legal@salessathi.com if you suspect unauthorised use.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the service to:

  • Send spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or messages to people who have not opted in where consent is required.
  • Break the rules of a connected messaging platform, or misuse its APIs.
  • Send unlawful, deceptive, harassing, infringing or malicious content.
  • Attempt to breach, probe or disrupt the service, or access data belonging to another workspace.
  • Resell or make the service available to a third party except as part of your own business operations.

We may suspend a workspace that puts the service, another customer, or a connected platform at risk.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of everything you and your customers put into the service - messages, products, orders, documents and files. You grant us the limited licence needed to host, process and transmit that content in order to run the service for you. You are responsible for having the right to send that content and for the accuracy of what you publish.

5. Automated and AI replies

Chatbot features generate replies automatically from the products, documents and settings you provide. Automated output can be wrong or incomplete, so you are responsible for reviewing how your bots are configured and for the messages sent from your workspace. Do not rely on automated replies for legal, medical, financial or other professional advice.

6. Fees and payments

Paid plans are billed in advance for the period shown at checkout. Unless stated otherwise, fees exclude taxes, which are added where applicable.

Where the service records payments between you and your customers, we facilitate and record those transactions - we are not a party to them, and settlement, refunds and disputes with your customers remain yours to handle.

7. Third-party channels

Connecting WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, email, SMS or any other channel also subjects you to that provider's own terms. We do not control those services, and we are not responsible for their availability, changes or decisions about your account with them.

8. Availability and support

We work to keep the service available, but it is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Planned maintenance is announced where practical. Support channels and response targets depend on your plan.

9. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for a material breach of these terms, non-payment, or where required by law - with notice where we reasonably can. On termination, your data is handled as described in the privacy policy.

10. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost revenue or lost data. Our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us for the service in that period. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version, and we will give notice in the product before a material change applies to you. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the updated terms.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, without affecting mandatory rights you have where you live.
